All, it is with great pleasure that I can announce that for the 2015 AFL Cairns Juniors Colts season, Marc Harbrow has been appointed as the coach of the Manunda Hawks team,
Marc comes with great experience in coaching at all levels, thru his time as a JDO with AFL Cairns & Cape York, and most recently during his stint as senior coach with the City Lions, and as a player, he was a member of our 2011 Senior premiership side,
Marc has confirmed that he will play senior football in the 2015 season, both myself and Marc agree that his playing role will have nil effect on his coaching of our colts, and I wish him all the best,
An article will appear in the Cairns Post later this week, with the message loud and clear that the Manunda Hawks Colts have a team in the competition, and will be looking for all previous and upcoming players to remain as a part of the club going forward, using the 2015 season as a stepping stone for their careers at Senior level come 2016 when the Reserve and Senior teams will re-commence,
A meet the coach sausage sizzle is being planned for later this month, and it would be great if we could get all the parents to come along with the upcoming and remaining aged players, so Marc can outline his plans for the team for the 2015 season,
